| Sad news from Calvert Devon
We’re saddened to hear the news of the closure of Calvert Devon. During its 30-year history, Calvert Devon has made outdoor adventure accessible to thousands of people with and without disabilities. This is testament to the hard work and dedication of its team and supporters, whose impact will to continue to be felt for years to come. We know many will be disappointed by the loss of a service that has supported the disabled community for so many years. Calvert Kielder would like to reassure its guests, staff, partners, funders and supporters that our services continue as normal. While sharing the ‘Calvert’ title and a commitment to provision for people with disabilities, the two charities are otherwise entirely separate – with no shared finances, assets, liabilities, or funding arrangements. This means there is no direct impact upon the Calvert Kielder and its future. Clive Gray, Chief Executive of Calvert Kielder, said: |
