Accessibility is at the root of what we do. From the design of our self-catered lodges to the vast range of outdoor activities we run week to week. Because when you design something with accessibility in mind from the outset, rather than “adding it on” later, it creates an environment which is genuinely inclusive for all.

It’s about time our website caught up.

This Global Accessibility Awareness Day we’re launching a 15-minute online survey for current and past guests, helping shape the design of a new website for Calvert Kielder.

What is Global Accessibility Awareness Day (GAAD)?

Global Accessibility Awareness Day (GAAD) is a global initiative dedicated to promoting digital inclusion and access for the more than one billion people worldwide living with disabilities. Held annually on the third Thursday of May, it encourages organisations and the public to prioritise digital accessibility.

Add your voice to the new website design

Across a handful of survey questions you’ll feed into the design of a new Calvert Kielder website, launching later this year.

Should you wish, you can leave your contact details to get deeper involved with the project. This might include feeding back on draft versions of pages, designs and more. And while we can’t guarantee that all suggestions will be implemented directly, you can rest assured that our team will read every response and use this to shape our thinking and approach online.

If you have 15 minutes to spare, we’d love to have your support.
