Full Time Activity Staff
We are looking for full time candidates who are confident and engaging and ideally have experience of working in an activity centre with a water sports background, ideally with a dinghy instructor and canoe qualifications and/or a ropes background with climbing wall award/instructor or SPA/RCI and ERCA high ropes course instructor.
Seasonal Activity Staff
We are looking for confident and engaging people who have experience of working with and leading groups. This could be working at an outdoor centre, assisting a local Scouts group, coaching a team or volunteering with other clubs or groups.
If you have a D1 driving license that would also be useful. We work with people of all abilities so if you have a background in this let us know. Use the application form to demonstrate that you’ve got what it takes.
We are looking for permanent full and part time candidates. We also run an apprenticeship programme. Carers at Calvert Kielder enjoy the opportunity to accompany guests and take part in the many outdoor activities, whilst also ensuring that the care needs of guests are met to the highest possible standards. You don’t have to have formal qualifications in the caring or activities industries, but you do have to be enthusiastic, caring and motivated. All aspects of personal care are met by the team, ensuring our guests enjoy a break from home and their carers have a break from their caring responsibilities. We offer short and long term volunteering roles, work, gap year and student placements and internships.
